Bilkent University is home to a large group of scientists with diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in understanding the structure and function of the brain in health and disease. In 2014 Bilkent University will launch an interdisciplinary neuroscience graduate program, that offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Neuroscience. Areas of research include systems-, cellular & molecular-, developmental-, cognitive-, social-, and behavioral neuroscience, neuroengineering, neuroeconomics, neuroprosthetics, neurogenomics and optogenetics. We have admitted our first group of graduate students for the Fall term 2014.

Application Requirements for MS and PhD students

ALES
ALES is required from resident Turkish citizens who are applying for the graduate programs. Turkish citizens who are residents of foreign countries and those applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE scores instead of ALES.
PhD: 55 (quantitative, for those who hold a M.S degree with thesis.)
PhD: 80 (quantitative, for those who do not hold a M.S. degree with thesis.)
