Neurobiology brings together many disciplines like neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry, medicine and developmental biology. It comprises the studies about the cells of the nervous system, how these cells gather into functional units for the information processing, development and the function of the brain at the cellular level. In the human brain there roughly hunder billions of neuron cells which are specialized to receive, propagate and transmit electrochemical impulses. The complex newtwork between neurons, given that their diversification due to their morphology and function makes this network the most complex system in human body. The challange in this complexity requires comprehensive and integrative approaches and as new techniques arise fater diagnosis, acurate prognosis and better treatments will be available.
